Urgent Need for Financial Help

This past week has been horrifically rough–my car, which is my only viable form of transportation, just got back from the auto shop. The check engine light now turns on when I turn on the vehicle even after paying just under 1200 dollars for an entire new exhaust system, which had been completely rotted out. The auto shop refuses to admit they had anything to do with the check engine light–even though it was not there when I drove it in to the shop.

This has all but decimated my entire savings account. My parents had to pay for most of it but expect me to pay it back.
